Wage and hour violations / misclassification

• GA AFL-CIO: If you have concerns about wage and hour violations, misclassification, or other workers’ rights issues please share your contact information here it will be forwarded to the Georgia AFL-CIO for follow up.

Discrimination and/or harassment

• City Of Atlanta Human Relations Commission: The City of Atlanta has established a Human Relations Commission (HRC) to promote mutual respect and understanding within the city of Atlanta. The HRC investigates and hears complaints regarding discrimination, makes recommendations on how to resolve such complaints, and initiates activities in keeping with its mission. 

• Health and safety

  • Georgia does not have a state level Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) plan. Private sector workers are covered by federal OSHA rules. See information under “Know Your Workplace Rights” for resources on health and safety and heat protection.
